Friends we come across so many different types of people all the time in our lives. These people may hail from different backgrounds and different walks of life. So may be educated, some not so much, some may be affluent while others may be still trying to attain affluence. The differences go on but one thing remains common among all. Ask them all if they are happy and the answer is a common NO. I am sure none has ever come across anyone who says that he is truly a happy and content person.
Although there may be pretenders who try to portray a state of happiness externally, just a little bit of scratching beneath the surface and the truth rolls out. So this is a story I heard of a person who claimed to be a truly happy person. And someone asked him what the secret of his happiness was. In response, he shared his personal seven secrets to true happiness:
1 – Do not think about what others think of you. – The Secret of Freedom
2 – Any of our thoughts will necessarily materialize. – The Secret of Creating the Reality You Need.
3 – Love and accept your body. – The Secret of Beauty
4 – Do not judge or criticize yourself and others. – The Secret of Friendship.
5 – Give Love and do not think what others will do with Love. – The Secret of Love.
6 – Learn to give first and then receive. – The Secret of Wealth.
7 – Think less, love more and rejoice. – The Secret of Happiness
According to him, by applying these seven secrets, all of us can lead a happy and content life.
Friends I don’t believe in hearsay but I do believe that if something offers a hope of something positive, then there is no harm in giving it a thought and trying it out. For all you know, it might work and you may achieve the impossible, but if doesn’t, at least you lose nothing in the bargain and gain a valuable understanding.
